They look smaller yet are reaching flowering size. In fact, plant in the center of the pot flowered in the spring of 2007.We were fortunate enough to get the wonderful Ornithogalum with locality and collection number. They came to us as tiny bulbs of rice grain size. As we had taken care of them in a bit arid way, they stay smaller for their age.
Now we are used to the species and we expect to collect their seeds in 2009.
In spite of the succulent-looking leaf, they are just another tender, winter growing bulb.
